Beware that there's now two versions of D2X - a 'standard' and an 'alt'. Which one you go for depends on what you use on your Wii:
  • 'Standard' is best if you are planning on playing WiiWare/VC as well as disc backups (the emu NAND support is better).
  • If you're not playing Wiiware/VC then 'alt' has better USB support (better for games with USB attachments etc. if you play any of those).
Personally I'm using 'alt' for CIOS 249 (based on IOS 56) and CIOS 250 (based on IOS 57). I also have CIOS 248 (based on IOS 56) installed using D2X V10 'standard'. My USB loader for disc rips is set to launch games under CIOS 249/250 but my Wiiware/VC is set to launch via CIO248. This gives the best of both worlds although personally WiiWare/VC is so much better under NEEK that I rarely use CIOS 248 - I just installed it for completeness in case any of the family try to launch games that way.
tu en penses quoi ?
