Steps:

Is highly recommended to format your SD card with sd-dvd software. Just launch sddvd(version).dol file through sdload and after an advice and few steps, this screen will appear only a moment:

So your SD card is formated and you can remove it.

Install sdload in your SD card following its readme but with the difference that SD card is already formated in a different way than just FAT16 so it will fix some problems with some GameCube homebrew applications.

Move the sd-boot.dol file to the root of your SD card and create GCGAMES folders. This folder will contain the GameCube games (.iso, .gcm).

Is recommended to remove the extra data so they will have a smaller image. Furthermore SD adapters supports only up to 2GB cards.

Now launch sd-boot.dol through sdload and the following message will appear:

Following the instructions, insert a SD Gecko in slot B and press button A to advance.

*Note: You don't need 2 SD Gekko with 2 SD cards. You can use the one at slot A. There is no problem to remove it and insert in slot B.

From our game list, we choose our desired game and if all works, "DVD is initializing" should appear.

So for example, we get Donkey Kong Jungle Beat PAL running:
