Salut Sammy.

Broadband Adapter
BBA (HIT-400/HIT-401)
The official BBA that SEGA released in Japan (HIT-401) and in the States (HIT-400) is a 100 Mbit Ethernet adapter, using a RTL8139 chip.
It's supported by various online games and the latest versions of the PlanetWeb?, DreamPassport? / XDP? and DreamKey browsers.
It is used for Development. There are BBA drivers available in KOS and it's supported by games like DCRPG and multimedia apps like dcplaya.
LAN Adapter (HIT-300)
The so called "LAN adapter" (HIT-300) is a 10 Mbit Ethernet adapter. It's a cheaper alternative to the BBA only sold in Japan that works with the Japanese DreamPassport? and homebrew stuff.
It is not supported by any commercial games or the PlanetWeb? or DreamKey browsers.
